Our purpose is to provide an empathetic, non-judgmental environment, where you feel heard and validated. Our services offer you useful tools, helping with a wide range of issues, and should be a collaborative effort between you and your therapist. We strive to ensure you are an equal participant in the healing process. Meaningful Balance supports a holistic approach, meaning we provide support that looks at you as a whole, by addressing mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health. Our practice is comprised of independent practitioners providing a wide variety of services. We feel strongly about meeting your needs and the needs of our community. What sets Meaningful Balance apart from other practices is the value we place on your privacy and autonomy. One of the best ways to ensure this, is through self-pay. Some of the many benefits of private pay include, but are not limited to (a) no limits on amount of sessions, (b) no mandatory mental health diagnosis, (c) you are able to collaborate with your therapist on duration, frequency, and focus of therapy sessions, (d) session information is not submitted to your health records, (e) insurance premiums, life insurance policies, and other important determinations will not be evaluated based on mental health diagnosis and treatments, and (f) guaranteed privacy and confidentiality with the exception of limitations to confidentiality noted on the Informed Consent form. Meaningful Balance allows you the opportunity to speak openly about your thoughts and feelings, in a comfortable and confidential environment. Your mental health, should be a priority in the same way you prioritize your physical health. There is a strong connection between mental and physical health. When you engage in therapy, you make an investment in yourself, therefore improving your overall wellbeing.
